Dr. Nicole Wong, (formerly Dr. Nicole Tortora) offers a refined, integrative approach to modern naturopathic medicine—one that blends clinical excellence with warm, human-centered care. Her practice is rooted in understanding the full picture of her patients’ health: hormones, metabolism, digestion, stress, sleep, and the subtle ways each system influences the next.

Her philosophy is simple: when patients feel supported and deeply understood, meaningful healing follows.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Wong loves being a mom to her son, Cooper, and spending time with her family. She enjoys exploring new neighbourhoods (always stopping for a sweet treat), catching up on reality TV, and going for walks.

Born and raised in Burnaby/New Westminster, Dr. Wong graduated from St. Thomas More Collegiate in 2011 before completing her Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Liberal Arts Certificate at Simon Fraser University, where she received a full-ride entrance scholarship. During her time at SFU, she contributed to a research publication on gene expression in preeclampsia. She later earned her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Vancouver, receiving awards from her supervisors and instructors for clinical and academic excellence.

In the first three years of her Naturopathic practice, Dr. Wong worked extensively in the diagnosis and treatment of hair loss, completing additional training with medical doctors, dermatologists, trichologists, and hair-transplant specialists. This work highlighted the profound interconnectedness of the body—how a single symptom, such as hair loss, can stem from a wide range of underlying causes. Through this lens, her practice naturally expanded to treating a myriad of related conditions including: hormone imbalances, iron deficiency, thyroid disorders, menopause and andropause, insomnia and weight loss.

Dr Wong holds additional certifications in IV therapy, aesthetic neuromodulator and aesthetic Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) as well as Prescription Authority.

She is excited to be joining Oasis Massage and Wellness Center and bringing her expertise to the Burquitlam community.
